Our mission is to ensure student success as collaborative, responsible members of society by inspiring them to reach their full intellectual, physical and emotional potential.
Our vision at Monte Vista Elementary is to ignite a love of learning and a sense of curiosity in all students. We will promote academic achievement through high expectations and develop problem solvers who are technologically proficient.
If your child was born between September 2 - December 2, 2011, they are ready to enroll is our full day Transitional Kindergarten program.
A new third option for children born between December 3, 2011 - March 1, 2012 is called Extended TK. This option is only available at Alamosa Elementary and Breeze Hill Elementary.
For all of these programs the first step is to register online. Once you complete the online process, please bring a copy of the paperwork, birth certificate, immunization record, and proof of address to our office between 9:00 - 11:00 am and 1:00 - 3:00 pm.
Have you printed and sent in a new emergency card this year?
If not, please complete this process on Parent Portal. When in Parent Portal, click the “Student Info” tab and then select “Data Confirmation.” Verify the emergency information is correct, print it out, sign it and return it to our office as soon as possible.
Updated emergency card information is critical in order for us to be prepared to care for your child in case of illness, injury, or an emergency. Thank you in advance for your prompt attention to this very important matter.
